I looked at the Karndean warranty and it doesn't specifically say anything about using an underlayment with LVP but there could be some wording in there that I missed and that they could use to say "no" if there is an issue down the line. We know it already has an underlayment built in but an additional 3-6mm underlayment seems to be an even bigger benefit.ĭoing google searches it looks like that an underlayment could void the warranty for certain vinyl flooring.
